About the Assignment
You will take a leading role in an emerging product area focused on modernizing and digitalizing daily work in physical stores. The ambition is to replace manual, store-based processes with web and handheld solutions that support store personnel at scale. You will work in a cross-functional product organization together with Product Owners, developers, Tech Leads, enterprise architects and business stakeholders. In addition to the area-wide perspective as Product Manager, you will also act hands-on as Product Owner for a smaller team building a new member application. The environment includes mobile and web frontends, primarily custom-built on Azure components, with backends including SAP S/4 and other master data systems.
Job Description
- Own product vision, roadmap and delivery from strategy to rollout and scaling for a digital product ecosystem used daily by thousands of store employees.
- Define measurable business and operational outcomes tied to store efficiency and staff enablement.
- Prioritize and manage a value-driven backlog in close collaboration with architects, UX and Tech Leads.
- Translate operational challenges into user-centric, scalable features across web and handheld solutions.
- Represent the product area in PI planning, cross-team coordination and dependency alignment in a SAFe setup.
- Continuously improve product performance using data, user insights and operational feedback.
- Lead stakeholder communication and represent the product in steering and governance forums.
- Act as Product Owner for a smaller team with focus on building a new member application.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Product Manager and/or Product Owner and/or Program Lead delivering in enterprise environments.
- Ability to establish structure, value focus and stakeholder alignment in ongoing initiatives.
- Experience working with operational user groups (e.g., retail, logistics, workforce) and high-volume daily use cases.
- Proven ability to navigate dependencies, platform constraints and architectural governance.
- Experience leading delivery in multi-vendor setups, including external and nearshore/offshore collaboration.
- Strong prioritization skills with ability to translate needs into incremental MVP and rollout plans.
- Solid experience working in scaled agile environments, preferably SAFe.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
Nice to have
- Experience with complex retail platform ecosystems (SAP S/4, CAR, POS, inventory).
- Experience with large-scale device/app rollout (handhelds, store terminals, offline scenarios).
- Familiarity with Azure-based environments and Entra ID governance.
- Understanding of integration-heavy landscapes and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka/EventHub).
- Experience with rollout strategies, onboarding, training and adoption in distributed store networks.
- SAFe / Product Management / Agile Leadership certifications.
- Broader knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and release governance.
