About the Assignment
You will join an engineering team focused on 2-stroke engine development within the forest & garden industry. The role has a strong mechanical design focus, working with cylinder and piston design as well as rotating system design, in close collaboration with colleagues across product development.
Job Description
- Create part designs including 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Interpret simulation results and use findings to improve and iterate design solutions.
- Perform tolerance investigations.
- Support product maintenance, including product and cost improvements.
- Participate in technical discussions related to 3D and 2D design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Catia.
- Experience working with SmartTeam.
- Experience working with PLM Teamcenter.
- Technical knowledge of engines.
- Good understanding of components in steel and aluminum, or experience with manufacturing methods such as die casting, forging, machining, or sintering.
