About the Assignment
We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to take a key technical role in synchronous condenser projects within the Large Motors & Generators domain. In this position, you will lead engineering activities end-to-end, acting as the primary technical interface towards stakeholders such as customers, subcontractors, and internal project functions. You will join a dynamic and highly skilled team working in an international setup, with strong focus on quality, safety, and contract compliance.
Job Description
- Lead and coordinate technical engineering activities in synchronous condenser projects
- Ensure technical delivery is executed effectively and in line with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Act as the primary technical interface towards project stakeholders, with particular focus on the customer
- Support contract managers as well as commissioning and start-up activities with technical expertise
- Create, review, track, and respond to engineering change requests
- Evaluate and manage technical risks and opportunities
- Drive technical solutions to maximize platform reuse while ensuring customer requirement compliance
- Support sales by contributing to technical input for new project proposals
Requirements
- Technical university degree in a relevant engineering field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical lead/engineering coordination role
- Experience working in global environments and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of risk and opportunity management
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience from the power systems domain
