About the Assignment
To strengthen an R&D team, we are looking for an Algorithm Software Developer with a strong focus on camera-based sensing and sensor fusion. You will develop and validate algorithms that combine camera data with other sensor modalities (for example inertial, motion, or environmental sensors). The work spans the full development chain—from proof of concept and data analysis to implementation on embedded platforms and integration into products. You will collaborate closely with software, hardware, and system engineers, and be part of a wider network of algorithm specialists where ideas, results, and innovations are shared through technical discussions, reviews, patents, and publications.
Your work will help enable robust perception and environmental understanding for solutions used in areas such as mobility, IoT, and consumer and industrial products.
Job Description
- Develop algorithms for camera processing and multi-sensor fusion
- Design and evaluate perception pipelines using real-world sensor data
- Combine model-based and data-driven approaches where suitable
- Validate algorithms via simulation, offline analysis, and on-target testing
- Support implementations from prototype to product-ready embedded solutions
- Collaborate in cross-functional, international development teams
- Contribute to technical discussions, reviews, knowledge sharing, and innovation work (e.g., patents)
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Experience in computer vision, camera algorithms, or perception systems
- Experience with sensor fusion and handling data from multiple sensor modalities
- Strong Python skills for data analysis, prototyping, and evaluation
- Good understanding of algorithm validation and performance evaluation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience implementing algorithms in practice; knowledge of embedded C/C++
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI applied to sensor or image data
