About the Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Design Project Leader to support complete vehicle design programs within the automotive industry. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the delivery of design content throughout the vehicle development process, ensuring strong alignment between design teams, program management and product development.
You will operate in a global, cross-functional setting with multiple stakeholders, driving design project planning and execution to meet project targets.
Job Description
- Manage the complete vehicle design project scope across development phases
- Integrate overall vehicle program plans with design project plans
- Ensure delivery in line with project timing, quality and targets
- Maintain resourcing plans, budgets, forecasts and financial follow-up
- Delegate tasks and track progress within the project team
- Collaborate closely with program management and product development teams
- Communicate progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders and management
- Support change management and project governance
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience within automotive design project management
- Strong experience from the automotive sector
- Good understanding of automotive design processes and development tools
- Experience from vehicle development programs
- Ability to manage budget, forecast and financial follow-up
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- English (Fluent)
