About the Assignment
We are looking for a Senior QA SME / Test Strategist for a strategic consulting assignment within an international organization in robotics and intralogistics. You will act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, helping ensure quality assurance is structured, effective, and embedded early—so solutions meet the right quality level before reaching end customers.
The focus is on long-term quality enablement through methodology, governance, and frameworks rather than operational test management. You will work in a technically advanced, international setting with strong emphasis on automation and complex system deliveries.
Job Description
- Act as an advisor and sounding board on QA strategy and testing direction
- Develop and continuously improve test methodologies, processes, and ways of working
- Ensure testing is integrated early in the project lifecycle
- Support the establishment and further development of QA frameworks
- Identify risks in delivery and integration phases and propose mitigating actions
- Help ensure quality assurance activities are completed prior to customer delivery
- Contribute to improvement initiatives based on lessons learned
- Support the organization in increasing QA maturity over time
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA, testing, and quality assurance
- Proven experience developing and implementing test strategies
- Experience establishing or evolving QA frameworks
- Strong expertise in test processes, methodologies, and quality governance
- Experience working in complex system environments (e.g., automation, industrial systems, intralogistics, or similar)
- Ability to operate at a strategic and advisory level rather than in a purely operational capacity
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and structured mindset
- Experience working in international organizations
Nice to have
- Experience from integration-intensive environments
- Experience in technical or industrial domains
- Academic background in Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
