About the Assignment
You will join a team responsible for lower base engine and cooling system components in an international automotive R&D environment. The role focuses on new propulsion drivelines and combines hands-on design work, technical coordination and close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Job Description
- Develop cylinder blocks, crankshafts, connecting rods, bearings, sealing components and cooling system parts such as pumps, brackets, hoses, pipes, valves and coolers.
- Drive technical work related to new propulsion drivelines.
- Lead, summarize and present technical solutions to project teams and line organizations.
- Take responsibility for components developed both by suppliers and in-house teams.
- Create and position component designs in both 3D and 2D.
- Plan and follow up project activities.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 for 3D and 2D design.
- Experience handling part numbers and change orders.
- Familiarity with design reviews and FMEA.
- Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Structured, communicative and team-oriented way of working.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience from the automotive industry.
