About the Assignment
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for an assignment in the automotive industry, focused on aftermarket and workshop-related processes. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions across a complex system landscape supporting workshop operations, spare parts, diagnostics, warranty, insurance and vehicle software lifecycle management.
You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to create shared understanding, improve processes and support the implementation of features aligned with business goals. The assignment suits someone who combines strong domain knowledge with a structured, analytical way of working in integrated environments.
Job Description
- Maintain well-defined user stories with priority, status, stakeholder input, acceptance criteria and relevant context.
- Define clear and testable acceptance criteria for features and requirements.
- Ensure requirements, features and proposed solutions are understood across business and development teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, support defect analysis and contribute to impact analysis for new features.
- Create mockups, visualizations and process material to support feature development and backlog quality.
- Support the definition of epics and contribute to backlog prioritization.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives and lessons learned sessions.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to clarify requirements and support solution design.
- Act as a key knowledge holder for workshop-related processes such as spare parts ordering, catalog management, delivery flows, diagnostics, software download, warranty and insurance.
- Support integration initiatives, including dealer management systems setup and integrations.
- Contribute to vehicle software release processes and related legal and compliance understanding.
- Perform data analysis in Power BI to support feature definition, prioritization and data-driven development.
- Support portfolio demos, audits and cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive structured problem solving across business processes and system domains.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years documented experience within the automotive aftermarket domain.
- Proven experience in senior business analysis within complex and integrated system environments.
- Deep understanding of workshop processes, operational challenges and critical deliveries.
- Strong knowledge of spare parts processes from catalog creation to delivery flow.
- Solid understanding of vehicle diagnostics, warranty management and vehicle software release processes.
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems integration, including dealer management systems setup and integrations.
- Experience in managing or contributing to integration projects.
- Ability to gather and document detailed requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Experience defining clear acceptance criteria.
- Skilled in creating mockups, wireframes and process diagrams.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Fluent English.
