About the Assignment

We are looking for a Solution Architect with strong OpenText VIM and SAP expertise to support the continued development of a business-critical finance solution within the automotive industry. In this role, you will combine solution ownership with technical leadership, helping to shape a robust, scalable architecture while ensuring alignment with governance, business goals, and long-term technology direction.

You will work across both business and IT, supporting the full delivery lifecycle from planning and testing coordination to go-live and post-launch support.

Job Description

• Lead planning, follow-up, and reporting for the VIM implementation.
• Track delivery progress and ensure alignment across teams and delivery streams.
• Coordinate testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Drive business readiness, user adoption, and training activities.
• Support go-live preparation, approve readiness checkpoints, and coordinate cutover activities.
• Plan and execute hypercare and ensure structured post-go-live support.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders across business and IT.
• Define the end-to-end architecture for the SAP and OpenText VIM solution.
• Provide technical guidance for roadmaps, planning, and key technology decisions.
• Ensure solution quality, architectural consistency, and compliance with established standards.
• Lead fit-gap analysis between current capabilities and business requirements.
• Identify architectural risks proactively and support decision-making forums.

Requirements

• Solid experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of OpenText VIM and related workflows and integrations.
• Proven background in solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Experience with finance-related system integrations.
• Ability to work independently within established governance and standards.
• Strong understanding of project governance, stage gates, and structured delivery models.
• Experience leading projects through go-live, cutover, and hypercare.
• Experience managing testing cycles such as SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple delivery streams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and IT.
• Ability to manage documentation, readiness activities, and knowledge transfer.
