About the Assignment

You will take a leading role in shaping cloud-native Data & AI platforms in a security-conscious surveillance and defense environment. Working within a team focused on software excellence and information assurance, you will drive platform architecture, support AI solution delivery, and translate business and technical needs into robust, scalable implementations.

This assignment combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You will contribute expertise in AI tooling, cloud-native platforms, and modern architecture while mentoring team members and helping evolve a high-performing platform environment.

Job Description

• Design the end-to-end architecture, system landscape, and technical implementation of the platform.
• Lead the setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Data & AI platform solutions.
• Translate customer and business requirements into scalable platform architecture.
• Contribute use cases and participate in the development and delivery of complete AI solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance for Data & AI-related issues.
• Review and improve platform environments to ensure performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Create guidelines for managing AI environments and platform operations.
• Stay current on AI technologies and provide input to the technical roadmap.
• Mentor junior colleagues and provide technical leadership within the team.

Requirements

• 3–7 years relevant experience.
• Solid experience in Golang and other systems programming languages, including operator implementations utilizing Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field such as Data Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Practical experience of cloud architecture and commonly used high-performance applications, both cloud-native and traditional, including how to apply DevSecOps best practices.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, GitOps workflows, and developer enablement.
• Experience automating repetitive tasks using Shell or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and container technology.
• Hands-on experience implementing automation pipelines using ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions, or similar runners.
• Experience scanning third-party libraries and container images for vulnerabilities.
• Experience building cloud-native Kubernetes environments in industries with large volumes of data.
• Experience in agentic AI development or use of copilot tools.
• Experience with model deployment.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbal and written.
• Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)

Nice to have

• Experience with build, testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, SAST, DAST, Artifactory release handling, and deployment to staging and production.
• Knowledge of LLM concepts such as prompting and RAG.
• AI certifications from Google, AWS, or Microsoft.
• NVIDIA developer certification.
• SAFe or Agile certification.
• Linux or Kubernetes certifications.
