About the Assignment
We are looking for a Solution Architect to support the design and implementation of technology solutions within the supply chain domain, covering both products and services. The assignment centers on translating business needs from selected strategic initiatives into scalable, secure, and value-driven solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
You will work in a complex environment spanning supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing, and service business capabilities, with a strong focus on integrations and architecture quality throughout the solution lifecycle.
Job Description
- Analyze business needs and translate them into architectural blueprints and solution designs.
- Design solutions across supply chain planning and logistics, with primary focus on APS and related integrations.
- Support architecture work for service and solutions business capabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies in line with enterprise architecture principles and supply chain requirements.
- Ensure robust integrations across ERP, MES, APS, WMS, TMS, and partner or carrier systems.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and business stakeholders.
- Document solution architectures, integration patterns, specifications, and roadmaps.
- Support risk management and quality assurance across the solution lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in solution architecture within supply chain planning and logistics.
- Experience with APS, WMS, TMS, production scheduling, and global distribution processes.
- Proven experience in solution architecture for service and solutions business processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of integration frameworks, including API, EDI, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience with enterprise architecture modelling, for example Archimate.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across planning, logistics, manufacturing, and IT.
- Strong analytical, communication, and visualization skills.
