About the Assignment
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a diverse DevOps team working with backend development for connectivity solutions. You will work in an agile setup with two-week sprints and program increments, contributing in a global environment where collaboration, code quality, and continuous improvement are central.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java.
- Build solutions using technologies such as Spring Boot, JMS, and relational databases.
- Contribute to AWS-based serverless development.
- Work in Unix and Linux environments.
- Apply test-driven development in daily work.
- Collaborate in an agile DevOps team and participate in code reviews.
- Work closely with colleagues in a global delivery environment.
Requirements
- At least +10 years of experience in Java backend programming.
- Experience with Spring Boot, JMS, RelDb, or similar tools.
- Experience with AWS, including Serverless and node.js.
- Solid experience in using Unix and Linux.
- Experience from test-driven development (TDD).
- Experience of agile ways of working.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Experience giving and receiving feedback through code reviews.
Nice to have
- Understanding of scalability and experience of load tests.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design.
- Experience from the automotive industry and connectivity.
- Experience with connected applications, CI/CD, CDK, Code Pipelines, Docker, serverless development, load testing, and SAFe.
