About the Assignment

You will take a key role in shaping solution architecture within the supply chain domain, covering both product and service-related flows. The assignment focuses on turning business needs from selected strategic initiatives into scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions that align with enterprise standards.

You will work in a complex enterprise environment where supply chain planning, logistics, integrations, and service business capabilities are central. In close collaboration with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, and development teams, you will help create solutions that support operational excellence and long-term development.

Job Description

• Analyze business needs and translate them into architectural blueprints and solution designs.
• Design solution architecture across supply chain planning and logistics, with a primary focus on APS and related integrations.
• Support architecture work connected to service and solutions business capabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies in line with enterprise architecture principles and supply chain requirements.
• Ensure robust integration across ERP, MES, APS, WMS, TMS, and partner or carrier systems.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and stakeholders across business and IT.
• Document target architectures, integration patterns, recommendations, and roadmaps.
• Contribute to risk management, quality assurance, and solution lifecycle activities, including implementation support when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solution architecture within supply chain planning and logistics.
• Experience working with APS, WMS, TMS, production scheduling, and global distribution processes.
• Proven experience in solution architecture for service and solutions business processes.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of integration frameworks such as API, EDI, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling, for example Archimate.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders across planning, logistics, manufacturing, and IT.
• Strong analytical, communication, and visualization skills.
