About the Assignment

You will take a key role in the development of a fleet-focused digital service where connected products and software come together. In this assignment, you will combine systems engineering with product ownership, helping shape end-to-end features, system requirements, and solution design. You will work closely with product management and cross-functional development teams in an environment where technical understanding, collaboration, and clear prioritization are central.

You will be involved from early investigation through implementation and rollout, with the opportunity to influence both technical direction and product decisions for your area.

Job Description

• Define and maintain overall system requirements and solution design for a digital fleet service.
• Collaborate with systems engineers working with connected product development to align end-to-end features.
• Drive cross-disciplinary technical investigations together with product management, software architects, developers, testers, UX/UI designers, and other teams.
• Collect information, evaluate alternatives, and turn findings into clear technical conclusions and requirements.
• Follow up on the implementation and rollout of changes and new features.
• Take the lead for teams or focus areas when needed.
• Act as Product Owner for one area of the digital service in close collaboration with the Product Manager and other Product Owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years working experience.
• Experience within systems engineering and requirements analysis for digital services or software applications.
• Good understanding of software development.
• Ability to understand customer needs and describe them from a technical perspective in written form.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT systems, remote monitoring, and control of devices via web and/or apps.
• Experience of software development in cloud environments, apps, and web, including AWS, MongoDb, Java, TypeScript, Maui, Android, iOS, and React.
• Experience leading technical teams or projects.
• Leadership experience in an R&D environment.
