About the Assignment

You will join a team working with digital services that support early planning and decision-making for new customer meeting points in a global retail environment. The assignment focuses on improving how potential sites are assessed, how dimensioning data is produced, and how digital workflows support the journey from early evaluation to architectural design.

In this role, you will help strengthen the reliability, usability, and accuracy of tools used to compare location options, assess feasibility, and ensure alignment with concept requirements and mandatory standards. You will work across both frontend and backend, with a strong focus on secure development, scalable solutions, and smooth transitions between assessment, dimensioning, and design phases.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack solutions across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Contribute in early solution design through ideation, wireframes, requirements, estimation, planning, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and follow-up.
• Build user-facing web screens, including login flows and related user journeys, with focus on usability, responsiveness, and security.
• Implement and integrate Azure-based authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Enable secure, role-based access control and manage permissions based on assigned roles.
• Develop backend APIs that support frontend functionality, including secure file uploads and integrations with Azure Storage.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing, deployments, and environment-based configuration.
• Apply best practices for API design, authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Use AI tools in daily development work to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Support other developers through code reviews and by driving consistent engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a fullstack developer in modern web application development.
• Strong skills in Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful API development.
• Deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Azure-based authentication and authorization, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with secure backend integrations and Azure Storage.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub-based workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of coding standards, secure development practices, release processes, quality expectations, and documentation.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle, from early design to post-release follow-up.
• Experience leading developers through code reviews and engineering best practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with other modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
