About the Assignment

You will step into a strategic role in the energy sector where digital development, business priorities, and IT architecture need to come together in a clear and sustainable way. In this assignment, you will help shape the digital direction for a Nordic business environment, turning future business needs into well-grounded IT demand and creating a stronger connection between stakeholders, architecture, and delivery.

The role combines enterprise architecture, demand management, and change leadership, with a strong focus on information, data analytics, security, and cost-efficient decisions. Job Description

• You will shape and document future digital demand together with business stakeholders and translate it into clear IT direction.
• You will maintain a holistic view of the IT landscape and help ensure it supports both short- and long-term business needs.
• You will drive dialogue between business and IT development teams to align priorities, capabilities, and solution direction.
• You will contribute to digital strategy work and support the development of business-related digital capabilities.
• You will participate in projects and new initiatives to ensure solutions meet business needs and follow defined architectural principles.
• You will perform architectural reviews of new IT solutions with focus on business value, security, strategy alignment, and cost efficiency.
• You will identify how technologies such as AI, ML, RPA, and Cloud can support business development.
• You will maintain high-quality documentation of the IT landscape, systems, and related architecture.
• You will collaborate with security stakeholders to strengthen information security, IT security, and regulatory compliance, including GDPR.
• You will take part in common architecture and capability forums to share knowledge, encourage reuse, and find smart synergies across the organization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 10 years of experience in IT
• Long experience of working with development of IT demands in a business context
• Deep experience in business and IT architecture, covering process, information, and system perspectives
• Strong skills in Enterprise Architecture
• Good understanding of the utility and electricity business
• Experience from working in a large international company
• Understanding and experience of agile methods and ways of working
• Understanding of security regulations and confidence in addressing security aspects in architecture work
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Proven leadership skills and experience in change management

Nice to have

• Experience in solution architecture or application architecture
• Experience working with information and data analytics in an architectural context
• Knowledge of AI, ML, RPA, and Cloud from a business value perspective
