About the Assignment
You will help shape solution architecture in a complex enterprise environment where supply chain, logistics, and service business capabilities are central to operational performance. The focus is on turning business needs from strategic initiatives into scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.
You will work across supply chain planning and logistics, with particular focus on APS and related integrations, as well as capabilities connected to service and solutions business. This is a broad assignment where you get to bridge business and IT, influence architecture decisions, and contribute to a landscape with many critical integrations and dependencies. It is an exciting opportunity to drive architecture in an environment where both technical depth and business understanding matter.
Job Description
- You will analyze business needs and translate them into architectural blueprints and solution designs.
- You will shape solutions across supply chain planning and logistics, with emphasis on APS and connected integrations.
- You will support architecture related to service and solutions business capabilities.
- You will evaluate and recommend technologies that align with enterprise architecture principles and business requirements.
- You will ensure robust integration across ERP, MES, APS, WMS, TMS, and partner or carrier systems.
- You will provide technical guidance to development teams and stakeholders across planning, logistics, manufacturing, and IT.
- You will document solution designs, integration patterns, and architecture roadmaps.
- You will support risk management, quality assurance, and, when needed, implementation oversight, testing, and handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience in solution architecture within supply chain planning and logistics.
- Proven experience with APS, WMS, TMS, production scheduling, and global distribution processes.
- Proven experience in solution architecture for service and solutions business processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and integration frameworks, including API, EDI, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with enterprise architecture modelling, for example Archimate.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in business and IT.
- Strong analytical, communication, and visualization skills.
