About the Assignment

You will join a design-driven environment in the automotive sector where the focus is on shaping the next generation of sustainable transport solutions. In this assignment, you will strengthen an internal industrial design team and work across both exterior and interior vehicle projects. The work includes updates to current truck platform applications as well as concepts connected to services and future transportation scenarios.

You will be part of fast-moving design work where strong ideas need to be translated into feasible product directions. The role combines creative concept development with hands-on execution, and you will collaborate closely with specialists in CMF, Visual Graphics, Interaction Design, Vehicle Ergonomics, Studio Engineering and cross-functional engineering teams. Job Description

• You will drive quick ideation processes and define concepts for vehicle sub-systems.
• You will turn design concepts into clear directions that support realization and industrial feasibility.
• You will create strong visual material, including advanced 2D sketches and simple 3D models.
• You will guide 3D Surface Designers and work closely with adjacent design disciplines.
• You will contribute to both current platform updates and future-oriented transport concepts.
• You will collaborate with engineering teams to align design intent with technical feasibility.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Automotive Design, or equivalent.
• Experience from automotive design work.
• Solid professional experience from multiple high-level design projects.
• Exceptional visual communication skills, including advanced 2D sketching.
• Ability to create simple 3D models.
• Deep understanding of design as a tool for brand development, transformation, and business strategy.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Ability to communicate clearly about design with stakeholders at different levels.
• Comfortable working collaboratively in team environments and independently toward project goals.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing project conditions.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D concept modeling.
