About the Assignment

You will join a cross-functional team working with advanced analytics, AI, and data-driven development. The assignment combines data science and data engineering, with a clear focus on turning ideas into production-ready solutions. You will work closely with product owners and technical specialists to develop machine learning capabilities and strengthen the data foundation behind them.

This is a hands-on role for you if you enjoy moving between modeling, engineering, and collaboration with the business. You will step into an ongoing setup with knowledge transfer from the current consultant, giving you a solid starting point while still leaving room to influence how solutions are built going forward. It is an exciting opportunity to work close to both technology and business value in a team where modern cloud-based analytics is central.

Job Description

• You will develop and implement machine learning solutions that support data-driven development.
• You will build and improve data engineering workflows that make analytics solutions reliable and scalable.
• You will work with Python, SQL, and dbt to transform data and create robust pipelines.
• You will collaborate closely with product owners and other specialists to turn needs into practical technical solutions.
• You will contribute in an Agile team and help move work from exploration to implementation.
• You will work in a cloud environment, with a preference for GCP-based solutions.
• You will take over an existing assignment through a structured handover and continue developing the setup.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python
• Solid knowledge of SQL
• Experience with dbt
• Familiarity with GitHub
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Strong background in both data science and data engineering
• Fluent English and Swedish

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubeflow
• GCP certification, or willingness to obtain it shortly after joining
• Interest in business-oriented applications
