About the Assignment

You will join a skilled agile team responsible for a suite of applications built on the ServiceNow platform. The team works with support, maintenance, product enhancements, and the ongoing evolution of these applications, with a strong focus on building solutions that match business needs and platform standards.

In this role, you will turn requirements into robust technical solutions and help ensure that development follows ServiceNow best practices across the platform. You will work in a Scrum setup with 3-week sprints, where larger initiatives sit alongside continuous improvements and day-to-day maintenance.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the solution leader, and fellow developers in an international environment. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy combining hands-on development with real influence over how ServiceNow solutions are designed and improved over time.

Job Description

• You will analyze business needs and translate them into scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• You will design, develop, and enhance applications in line with platform standards and best practices.
• You will work with support, maintenance, and continuous improvements across an existing application suite.
• You will contribute to larger initiatives as well as smaller enhancements in a Scrum team working in 3-week sprints.
• You will build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP and custom APIs where needed.
• You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the solution leader, and the development team to drive the work forward.

Requirements

• Experience with SaaS platform architecture.
• Several years of experience as a software developer or engineer.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and custom API development.
• Strong understanding of the Glide API and ServiceNow development best practices.
• Fluent Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jelly scripting.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best-practice guidelines.
• Previous experience developing and managing the ServiceNow platform.
• A proven ability to build maintainable custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
