About the Assignment

You will join a team that owns a central CI infrastructure in a large-scale automotive environment. The platform supports multiple development teams and plays a key role in how software is built, tested, packaged, and deployed. Here, CI/CD is not just a delivery pipeline but a platform product where reliability, speed, and maintainability have a direct impact on engineering productivity.

In this role, you will help develop, operate, and improve the platform behind build automation, test execution, artifact handling, and deployment workflows. You will work close to development teams, solve technical challenges across the toolchain, and strengthen the foundation for efficient software delivery. Job Description

• You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support multiple teams and products.
• You will operate, troubleshoot, and improve the CI infrastructure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• You will automate build, integration, and deployment workflows to create smoother and more repeatable delivery processes.
• You will implement and maintain container-based build environments using modern platform tools.
• You will support development teams in pipeline integration, ways of working, and CI/CD best practices.
• You will investigate and resolve build and integration issues across the platform.
• You will help maintain technical documentation and contribute to common standards for the CI environment.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platform engineering and automation.
• Strong skills in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Jenkins, Zuul, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture and design.
• Experience applying infrastructure automation principles in practice.
• Ability to debug build and integration issues in complex environments.
• Experience operating large-scale CI platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with artifact repositories.
• Ability to complete a basic background check covering education, employment history, identity, and citizenship verification.
