About the Role

You will join a team developing advanced airborne electronic warfare systems, with a focus on the central hardware unit. This role is centered on a technically demanding challenge: building the strategy for troubleshooting and fault isolation of units returned from service, and shaping how automatic tests can support faster, more reliable analysis.

You will work close to hardware development, verification, integration, and requirements, and help connect these disciplines in a regulated and configuration-controlled environment. The role also includes broader HW systems engineering work linked to the central unit, which gives you a wide technical interface and real impact across the product lifecycle. It is an exciting opportunity if you want to work with complex electronics in a mission-critical defense context where your analysis and test strategy truly matter.

Job Description

• You will develop the strategy for troubleshooting and fault isolation of returned hardware units.
• You will define and improve automatic test suites that support efficient fault finding and analysis.
• You will contribute to HW systems engineering activities related to the central unit.
• You will work with requirements management, test, integration, and troubleshooting.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across development and verification.
• You will help drive structured technical work forward while adapting to changing needs in a complex engineering environment.

Requirements

• University degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a HW systems engineer, electronic HW developer, and/or electronic HW designer in defense, rail, radio communications, med-tech, or a similar industry.
• Experience in product development with a strong focus on electronic HW development.
• Previous knowledge or experience with RF.
• Experience with electronic HW verification and testing.
• Experience working in a regulated, configuration-controlled environment.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
• Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)

Nice to have

• Experience and/or knowledge of ILS processes.
• Experience and/or knowledge of FMEA/FMECA.
