About the Role

You will join a global master data team in an industrial environment where accurate product information is critical for purchasing and operations. The focus is on purchased components, where each request needs to be translated into well-structured material data in SAP. You will work close to technical information, classifications, and data quality, making sure materials are created with the right attributes from the start.

Job Description

• You will handle incoming requests from a global request tool and create material masters in SAP based on defined criteria.
• You will classify materials using the correct UNSPSC class and maintain key attributes such as dimensions, capacity, voltage, frequency, and weight.
• You will search for and validate technical information through datasheets, supplier websites, and, when needed, direct contact with suppliers.
• You will support the team’s work with processes connected to purchased components and contribute to consistent master data quality.
• You will collaborate with colleagues in a global setup and help improve the way component data is managed.

Requirements

• High level of technical understanding of food processing components.
• Competence within Master Data Management.
• Practical experience working with global business IT systems.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to find and verify technical information from different sources.
• Fluent English and Swedish as your first language.
