About the Role

You will help develop and verify vehicle safety solutions with a focus on pedestrian passive safety. In this role, you will work close to engineering teams in an automotive environment where simulation, testing, and design decisions go hand in hand. You will contribute to analyses that support safer vehicles and better performance, with the chance to work on technically challenging verification work using established industry methods and tools.

Job Description

• You will perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety.
• You will support both CAE and physical verification activities.
• You will carry out interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U requirements.
• You will develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations.
• You will work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups.
• You will analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U.
• At least 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA.
• Good CAD knowledge and the ability to work with vehicle geometry and models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in pedestrian passive safety analysis and verification.
