About the Role

You will help move a business-critical web application forward by turning a prioritized frontend backlog into clear, usable functionality. The role combines hands-on frontend development with close collaboration across product and technical stakeholders, where your work directly improves the user experience and strengthens the quality of the application.

You will work in an environment with ongoing delivery, changing priorities, and room to contribute ideas around usability and technical improvements. It is a strong fit for you if you enjoy building maintainable frontend solutions while influencing both UX and code quality.

Job Description

• You will implement frontend features based on prioritized Jira tickets and defined backlog items.
• You will develop, improve, and maintain UI components in line with design and usability standards.
• You will turn functional requirements and acceptance criteria into working frontend solutions.
• You will collaborate with product owners, project managers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and dependencies.
• You will take part in backlog refinement, estimation, and technical discussions related to frontend scope.
• You will contribute input on feasibility, complexity, and effort for frontend tasks.
• You will handle bug fixes and smaller enhancements while keeping delivery quality high.
• You will support code quality through readable, maintainable code, version control, and code reviews.
• You will identify opportunities to improve UX/UI and reduce technical debt in the frontend codebase.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a frontend developer working with web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend solutions with backend services.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control workflows.
• Experience working in ticket-based development, for example in Jira.
• Experience delivering frontend work from defined backlog items.
• Comfort estimating frontend tasks and working against delivery plans.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to work independently when priorities change.

Nice to have

• Experience with data-intensive or analytical applications.
• Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards.
• Previous experience working in large or matrix organizations.
• Knowledge of enterprise or industrial digital solutions.
