Calibration Engineer, Fuel/Evap Diagnostics

About the Role
You will work with calibration of fuel and evaporative diagnostics in engine control systems within the automotive industry. The role spans the full project lifecycle and combines physical testing, simulation and analysis to make sure calibrations are robust, optimized and aligned with technical and customer requirements.
You will be part of an environment where engine control and diagnostics are continuously refined through data-driven work, practical testing and close evaluation of results. Beyond the day-to-day calibration work, you will also help improve the methods used for calibration and testing. Job Description
- You will calibrate engine control and diagnostic systems throughout different project phases.
- You will plan, perform and evaluate physical tests, simulations and analysis to optimize calibration quality and robustness.
- You will develop and improve methods that support efficient and reliable calibration work during the project.
- You will test and optimize engine control and diagnostic functions based on project needs.
- You will use Design of Experiments (DoE) to plan and assess tests when relevant.
- You will identify technical issues, recommend actions and drive the work needed to resolve them.
- You will assess the need for analysis and verification activities and help ensure the right validation approach.
- You will update and evaluate Sign-Off documentation as part of the development process.
- You will stay current within the technical area and turn new knowledge into practical improvements.
- You will also be involved in occasional expedition-based work during the year.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience within the automotive industry
- General knowledge of powertrain control strategies
- Data analysing and programming skills
- Driving license B
- Availability for occasional expedition-based work during the year

- Experience with INCA
- Hällered T1/T2
