About the Role

You will join a product team working on a customer portal with advanced tools and applications for a broad and varied user base. In this role, you will help build new functionality across the full stack and contribute to solutions that need to be scalable, robust, and easy to maintain. You will work close to both technical and business needs, with real influence over how new features are designed and delivered.

The environment combines backend development, frontend development, cloud services, and day-to-day ownership of running systems. You will be part of a team that values quality, continuous improvement, and practical engineering decisions. This is an interesting opportunity if you enjoy owning features end to end in a modern Java and React environment.

Job Description

• You will develop both backend and frontend components for new and existing features.
• You will take part in designing new functionality and help shape scalable, robust technical solutions.
• You will deploy, operate, and maintain services in production.
• You will improve quality, functionality, and cost efficiency across the services you work with.
• You will contribute to integration work involving API gateways, APIs, and microservices.
• You will collaborate closely with the team to turn product needs into reliable, customer-facing solutions.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer, including personal or hobby projects demonstrating your skills.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of integration architecture, including API gateways, APIs, REST, GraphQL, and micro services.
• Experience using AI assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
• Background in Java, Spring Boot, JMS, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous server-side programming.
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS managed services and AWS resources.
• Experience working within Agile teams using SCRUM or Kanban methodologies.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• A structured and proactive way of working, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to complete a background check before onboarding.

Nice to have

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as AWS Q, Copilot, and Kiro, as well as MCPs and Agents.
• Experience with event-driven systems and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of CLEAN architecture and DRY principles.
• Familiarity with Git.
• User experience design skills, including Figma.
• Experience with test frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or JUnit.
