About the Role

You will join a team building a new common test solution in a technically advanced and security-sensitive environment. In this role, you combine strong front-end development skills with a sharp eye for UI and UX to create applications that are both robust and intuitive to use.

You will work close to engineers, designers, and other specialists in a cross-functional setup where ideas are explored quickly and refined through feedback. The work spans both product-facing development and shared frontend capabilities, giving you the chance to influence how applications are built and experienced over time. It is a great opportunity if you enjoy shaping user journeys while also contributing to scalable frontend architecture.

Job Description

• You will develop responsive, user-centric frontend applications for advanced test applications.
• You will help build and improve shared frontend libraries and frameworks that support consistency and reuse.
• You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to explore design directions and turn ideas into effective user experiences.
• You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to guide development and improve usability.
• You will run or support user testing activities and refine designs based on empirical feedback.
• You will contribute to a modern frontend setup with component-based architecture and design system thinking.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in front-end development using React and TypeScript, as well as UI/UX design.
• A demonstrated portfolio showcasing your capabilities.
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A comprehensive understanding of the frontend stack, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with design systems and component-based architectural frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• The ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
• Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)

Nice to have

• Experience with unit-test frameworks and E2E tools such as Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI, container technologies, and modern development workflows.
• Experience working in isolated on-prem environments.
• Experience with authentication and authorization, including OpenID Connect.
