About the Role
You will help drive UDI data work in a global medical device environment where regulation, data quality, and business processes need to work together. In this role, you will support the translation of global UDI requirements into practical business and data actions, working closely with stakeholders across business, IT, master data, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, packaging, and commercial teams.
This is a role for you if you enjoy connecting regulatory needs with structured execution, clear governance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will have the chance to influence how UDI data is prepared, managed, and improved in an area with clear business impact.
Job Description
- You will interpret global UDI regulatory requirements and turn them into clear business and data specifications.
- You will develop plans for UDI data preparation and submissions.
- You will coordinate with stakeholders across functions to align on priorities, track progress, and resolve issues.
- You will support data readiness, governance, and consistency in line with current and future UDI data models.
- You will contribute to UDI process documentation and help educate impacted departments.
- You will collaborate with business and IT teams on data- and system-related activities connected to UDI.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in global, matrix organizations with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational, data, or system-related actions.
- Strong communication skills, including reporting, presentations, and development of applicable QMS documents.
- Experience within business data, master data, or data-driven processes.
Nice to have
- Exposure to UDI requirements.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs or R&D within the medical device industry.
- Hands-on experience with global UDI implementation and maintenance.
- Experience working with IT teams on system-related initiatives or enhancements.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
