About the Role
You will shape how a global organisation creates commercial value through technology in a fast-moving and complex environment. This role sits close to business-critical decisions, where strong commercial judgement, structure and leadership are needed to turn strategy into practical results.
You will lead a global commercial team working across commercial advisory, software asset management and commercial specialisation within Tech. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Product, Design and Technology, as well as external suppliers and strategic partners.
This is a role for you if you enjoy combining strategic direction with hands-on execution and want to influence how technology investments, supplier relationships and commercial models create long-term business value.
Job Description
- You will lead and develop a global commercial team with an inclusive, trust-based and people-focused leadership style.
- You will create structure, set clear priorities and keep momentum in an environment shaped by change, complexity and shifting business needs.
- You will support strategic sourcing, vendor selection and commercial negotiations for key technology agreements.
- You will drive initiatives related to cost efficiency, commercial governance and value optimisation.
- You will work closely with Product, Design and Technology teams to translate strategy into execution.
- You will monitor supplier performance and handle operational escalations when needed.
- You will develop and improve commercial and procurement processes to support future business needs.
Requirements
- Relevant academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience within tech sourcing, procurement or vendor management in complex organisations.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams through transformation and change.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business case development and vendor governance.
- Experience working with SaaS environments, multi-vendor setups and complex contract structures.
- A solution-oriented and pragmatic approach, with the ability to move between strategy and operations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
