About the Role

You will step into a junior security role where you help create structure and speed in the handling of security and compliance events. In a Microsoft-based security environment, you will be the first point of contact for incoming alerts, incidents, and insider risk cases, making sure each case is captured, assessed at a high level, and routed to the right team.

This role is focused on intake, coordination, and follow-up rather than deep technical investigation. That gives you the chance to build practical experience in security operations, incident handling, and data protection while working with widely used tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview. It is a strong opportunity if you want to grow in a structured environment with real security workflows and clear escalation paths.

Job Description

• You will act as the first point of contact for incoming security alerts, incidents, and insider risk cases.
• You will receive, log, and manage cases in ServiceNow, ensuring information is captured clearly and consistently.
• You will perform initial triage and categorization of alerts from Microsoft Defender, including Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, and XDR.
• You will handle incoming cases related to Microsoft Purview, including DLP, Insider Risk Management, and compliance alerts.
• You will make sure alerts and cases are properly documented and enriched with relevant context before they move forward.
• You will track incident progress and keep ticketing systems updated throughout the process.
• You will support coordination between security, IT, and business stakeholders.
• You will work according to defined processes, SLAs, and escalation paths.
• You will help identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in intake and triage processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of IT security concepts such as threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
