About the Role
You will step into a role where chassis development meets demanding real-world use in the defense industry. The assignment covers the full product lifecycle, from early concept work and requirement analysis to engineering changes, prototype coordination, verification and updates to technical specifications. You will work closely with engineering, testing and project management in a specialized environment where design decisions need to be practical, robust and well documented.

Job Description
- You will design and develop chassis solutions for defense vehicle applications.
- You will drive and coordinate engineering change orders throughout the development process.
- You will analyze technical requirements and contribute to concept development activities.
- You will produce and maintain technical drawings and design documentation.
- You will coordinate prototype orders and support verification of design functionality.
- You will take part in project meetings, follow progress and help align targets across stakeholders.
- You will support root cause investigations, corrective actions and deviation handling linked to customer feedback and internal testing findings.
- You will maintain and update defense-specific technical specifications affected by legislation changes and updates from core vehicle platforms.
- You will collaborate closely with engineering, testing and project teams to move development forward.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- Strong experience from vehicle or chassis development environments.
- Experience from the client's product development environment is required.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience within the client's product development environment.
- Proven experience in product development and design engineering.
- Experience working with technical requirements, concept development and engineering change management.
- Hands-on experience with OAS, New 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5 / ENOVIA, KS and FRAS.
- You are comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in complex technical development projects.
Nice to have
- Fluent Swedish language skills.
- C driver's license.
- Previous experience within defense-related vehicle development.
- Practical experience and technical knowledge of vehicle chassis systems such as engines, axles, driveline components, frame structures, pneumatic systems and related vehicle hardware.
- Hands-on experience working with vehicles, prototypes, testing or workshop environments.
