About the Role
You will join a small team working close to prototype vehicles in an automotive development environment where chassis performance, reliability, and fast problem-solving are central. In this role, you support the practical side of chassis development by building, modifying, and troubleshooting components that are critical during tuning and test activities.
You will work alongside chassis engineers and contribute with hands-on expertise throughout development sessions and vehicle testing. The role combines workshop-based fabrication with fast-paced support around prototype cars, which means you need to be comfortable switching between detailed mechanical work and urgent troubleshooting when needed. Job Description
- You will create custom chassis components for prototype vehicles.
- You will swap chassis and chassis components during tuning activities.
- You will troubleshoot hardware connected to the chassis on test vehicles.
- You will support vehicle expeditions and help keep test activities running smoothly.
- You will manufacture prototype parts for chassis development in a mechanical workshop when needed.
- You will help ensure that all test cars have a fully functional chassis throughout development work.
- You will collaborate closely with a team of chassis engineers in a hands-on and test-focused environment.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience assembling prototype vehicles.
- At least one year of experience in chassis development work.
- At least a year of working on the SEA platforms.
- Driver's license.
- Experience from test track work.
- Ability to manufacture prototype parts for chassis development in a mechanical workshop.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware on test vehicles.
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role.
- Fluent English.
