Laboratory Engineer
Work hands-on with microbiology and pilot-scale fermentation in a food tech environment where you combine lab work, analysis, and process support.
About the Company
At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.
About the Role
You will join a pilot-scale fermentation environment focused on food technology, where laboratory work plays a key role in preparing, supporting, and following up on fermentation trials. In this role, you work close to trial leaders, bioprocess engineers, and process specialists to help ensure that trials are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently.
The work is practical and varied, with a strong focus on microbiology, biotechnology, and day-to-day laboratory operations. You will move between preparation, analysis, documentation, and routine lab support, and at times the work will follow the pace of pilot trials, including occasional evening and weekend work. This is a great opportunity for you who enjoy hands-on lab work in a setting where your contribution is closely connected to process development and real production challenges.
