Lead Data Engineer
Take the lead in a BI/DWH modernization and help shape the move from SQL Server and SSIS to modern platforms like Fabric, Databricks, Synapse or Snowflake.
About the Company
At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.
About the Role
You will join a major BI/DWH modernization initiative where a complex legacy Microsoft data warehouse environment is being analyzed and reshaped for the future. This role is centered on understanding existing data flows, dependencies and design choices, then helping drive the transition toward a modern cloud-based data platform.
You will work from an early stage of the project, contributing in both discovery and implementation. The role suits you if you combine deep technical hands-on skills with the ability to see the bigger picture in data architecture, data modeling and migration strategy. It is an exciting opportunity if you want to influence a modernization journey from the ground up and help define how a future-ready data platform should be built.
