About the Role

You will work with automation in an industrial environment that develops complete packaging equipment solutions. The role combines programming, testing and commissioning to create solutions tailored to different product types and customer needs. As part of a cross-functional scrum team, you will help secure the full functionality of each delivery across HMI, databases and PLC programs. You will join a team of automation engineers and collaborate closely with colleagues from several disciplines, which makes this a strong opportunity if you want hands-on technical breadth and clear impact on the finished solution.

Job Description

• You will analyze requirements and turn them into system design for automation solutions.
• You will create new and adapt existing HMI, database and PLC programs based on project needs.
• You will program, test and commission solutions as part of complete equipment deliveries.
• You will work closely with a cross-functional scrum team to ensure end-to-end functionality.
• You will support customers through troubleshooting and ongoing improvements when needed.
• You will provide automation training for customer personnel on relevant systems and modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation engineering.
• Experience from the development process covering documentation, development, test and commissioning.
• Experience with PLC programming.
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Ability to complete a drug test before the assignment starts.

Nice to have

• Experience from similar packaging equipment or industrial automation environments.
• Experience with Rockwell.
