About the Role
You will take a key role in introducing new products and product changes into manufacturing in a complex industrial environment. The focus is on ensuring manufacturability of components, smooth implementation of changes, and process methods that support the full component lifecycle from development to running production.
You will work close to R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, ME and Sales, combining product understanding with process thinking to create robust and efficient solutions. This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy influencing both technical decisions and how products are realised in production.
Job Description
- You will lead cross-functional work to secure process-driven product development and efficient, high-quality manufacturing solutions.
- You will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, ME and Sales to design robust, manufacturable products using DFA/DFM and virtual methods.
- You will perform risk analyses such as FMEA to assess product feasibility and align design with manufacturing requirements.
- You will support running production by identifying, analysing and resolving product- and process-related issues.
- You will drive structured product and process changes to maintain consistency and operational stability.
- You will contribute to continuous improvements in production methods and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4-8 years of experience working in engineering environments with exposure to manufacturing and product development.
- Experience with risk management tools such as FMEA.
- Experience working in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to independently lead and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and self-driven way of working.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on engineering reasoning and calculated risks, while delivering high-quality results efficiently.
