About the Role

You will join a team working with a business-critical platform used in plant automation. The solution generates PLC code and Process Function Specifications, and supports a global setup where stable service, fast troubleshooting and continuous improvement all matter.

This role combines second-line support with hands-on development. In the beginning, your focus will be more service-oriented, and as you build knowledge you will gradually take a larger part in improvement initiatives and project work. You will work in an agile environment where business needs guide priorities, and where you are expected to move comfortably between analysis, troubleshooting, development and testing.

What makes the role especially interesting is the mix of operational responsibility and real influence on how a specialized automation platform continues to evolve.

Job Description

• You handle incidents and service requests as part of the second-line service team.
• You troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes and drive effective resolutions.
• You use your understanding of application architecture and global implementations to solve problems in a structured and sustainable way.
• You translate business needs into technical requirements and workable solutions.
• You develop and test new functionality linked to continuous improvement initiatives and project work.
• You contribute to better service quality, smoother ways of working and increased platform stability over time.
• You collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders in an agile setup where priorities are driven by business value.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework
• Solid experience with Entity Framework
• In-depth knowledge of MS SQL
• Experience with unit testing, including NUnit and FakeItEasy
• Experience troubleshooting incidents and service requests in application environments
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Comfortable working in an agile way
• A proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach with a clear service mindset

• REST or other API framework knowledge
