About the Role
You will step into a key role focused on global tax processes in an international business environment. The assignment centers on the group’s Pillar II reporting while also covering tax compliance, planning, and strategy for selected legal entities. This is a role for you if you enjoy combining hands-on delivery with strategic thinking, and if you are comfortable navigating complex tax questions across jurisdictions.
You will work broadly across direct tax matters and support the business with guidance on cross-border transactions, restructurings, and other initiatives with tax impact. You will also help ensure that reporting, controls, and processes stay aligned with changing local and global tax legislation. It is an interesting opportunity to influence both tax governance and business decisions in a global setting.
Job Description
- You will lead and drive the group’s Pillar II reporting.
- You will develop and implement global tax strategies to optimize the group’s effective tax rate.
- You will advise on tax implications related to cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
- You will identify tax-saving opportunities and align tax initiatives with business objectives.
- You will manage direct tax filings and payments and help ensure they are completed on time.
- You will handle tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- You will review current and deferred tax calculations.
- You will review tax provisions under local GAAP for selected legal entities.
- You will monitor changes in local and global tax legislation and support implementation when needed.
- You will strengthen internal controls to mitigate direct tax risks.
- You will collaborate with external advisors and auditors to support accurate tax reporting.
Requirements
- University degree in Law, Finance, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience within tax.
- Knowledge of finance processes and systems.
- Strong knowledge of international tax laws, US tax laws, and tax accounting standards.
- Experience working with tax compliance, planning, and reporting in an international context.
- Ability to manage complex tax matters with a structured and analytical approach.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
