About the Role

You will join a large industrial environment at an early and important stage of an SAP Extended Warehouse Management rollout. In this role, you step in as the internal SAP EWM expert and help shape how the organization moves from operational warehouse needs to a workable, scalable SAP EWM setup.

You will work closely with SAP specialists, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to define requirements, review proposed solutions, and guide the overall implementation approach. This is a role for you if you enjoy combining hands-on SAP EWM expertise with real warehouse and logistics understanding. What makes the role especially interesting is the chance to influence key decisions early in the rollout and have a clear impact on both solution quality and long-term ways of working.

Job Description

• You will act as the organization’s Subject Matter Expert for SAP EWM during the early implementation phase.
• You will support scoping, requirements definition, and the translation of warehouse operations into relevant SAP EWM functionality.
• You will review and validate EWM solutions delivered by external suppliers to ensure they align with business needs and operational realities.
• You will help define implementation and rollout strategies that fit the organization’s warehouse and logistics processes.
• You will work across inventory management, control cycles, and related warehouse processes to ensure the solution supports day-to-day operations.
• You will guide other SAP specialists and business stakeholders with your EWM expertise and help build shared understanding across the organization.
• You will transfer knowledge and train both your immediate team and the wider business in SAP EWM-related topics.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP EWM Specialist
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management and warehouse management processes
• Experience supporting EWM projects in early phases, including scoping and requirements definition
• Experience defining implementation and rollout strategies for SAP EWM
• Experience reviewing and validating EWM solutions delivered by external suppliers
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, control cycles, and related processes
• Ability to translate operational warehouse requirements into appropriate SAP EWM functionality
• Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to have

• Experience from manufacturing or industrial warehouse environments
• Experience with other SAP modules, particularly MM and PP
