About the Role

You will join a digital transformation in the automotive industry where new internal tools are being built to support engineers working with product platforms and product documentation. The focus is to create a stronger user experience, smarter guidance, and more automation for both simple and complex tasks.

In this role, you will help shape the frontend of a business-critical application used globally across the organization. The team already has strong backend capability, so you will have real influence on frontend direction, solution design, and engineering standards from the start. You will work closely with UX specialists, architects, and a cross-functional product team in an environment that values modern ways of working and continuous improvement. It is a great opportunity if you want to drive frontend decisions in a large-scale product with clear impact on thousands of users.

Job Description

• You will develop modern web applications that improve how engineers work with product data and documentation.
• You will take a leading role in frontend initiatives and help define solution design, structure, and best practices.
• You will build user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, responsiveness, performance, and security.
• You will contribute hands-on in coding while working closely with backend developers, UX, architects, and product stakeholders.
• You will help move the team forward in agile ways of working and support the adoption of DevSecOps-oriented practices.
• You will contribute to a product used at global scale, where quality, maintainability, and long-term value matter.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing complex web applications with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, and TypeScript
• Experience in automated workflows using Azure and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of how to design web applications with a security focus from the start
• Knowledge of optimizing page loading times as well as responsive UI
• Experience working in an agile team
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and preferably Swedish as well
• Ability to pass a background check before assignment start

Nice to have

• Knowledge in developing with Web Components
• Knowledge in Bootstrap, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, and Tailwind
• Knowledge in UX design best practices, such as Lean UX and Design Thinking
• Knowledge in asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services, and test automation frameworks
• Knowledge in backend development, primarily Java
• Knowledge in designing REST APIs
• Experience with the Spring framework
• Experience as an Agile influencer, possibly in a role as Scrum Master or Agile Coach
