MES Functional Analyst

About the Role
You will join a large-scale manufacturing digitalization initiative where a Manufacturing Execution System is being rolled out across production lines. The focus is on building a modern, data-driven production environment that strengthens productivity, quality, and automation.
In this role, you will help bridge production, processes, and IT by turning business needs into working MES functionality. You will work closely with production engineering, IT specialists, and other stakeholders in both automated and manual production environments. This is a strong opportunity for you who enjoy hands-on MES work in a business-critical transformation.
Job Description
- You will review and collaborate on process and data maps together with production engineering.
- You will configure and model functionality in the MES solution based on business and production needs.
- You will plan, coordinate, and execute system testing to secure a stable implementation.
- You will support projects and production lines with both advisory input and day-to-day operational support.
- You will contribute expertise within manufacturing IT and digitalization to improve how systems support production.
- You will work closely with engineering teams across both automated and manual production cells.
Requirements
- Experience with requirements analysis and business systems.
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and business flows.
- Understanding of IT and digitalization within the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in complex environments.
- Self-driven approach and ability to collaborate across different functions.
- English is required.
Nice to have
- University degree in Engineering, preferably including programming.
- Experience with OEE measurement and/or production performance monitoring.
- Swedish language skills.
