About the Role

You will help shape the secure AWS foundation that internal development teams rely on to build and deliver platform services to end customers. This is a hands-on role in a cloud engineering team where automation, reliability, and smart improvements are part of everyday work.

You will work in an enterprise-scale AWS environment and contribute across both build and run. The role combines infrastructure, security, governance, and developer enablement, with a strong focus on creating solutions that are stable, scalable, and easy to use. It is a great opportunity if you want to influence both the cloud platform and the way the team works with continuous improvement.

Job Description

• You will design, deliver, and operate secure AWS environments at enterprise scale.
• You will improve infrastructure, automation, tooling, reliability, and cost efficiency across the cloud platform.
• You will analyze incidents and recurring issues, identify root causes, and drive long-term improvements.
• You will implement guard rails, governance models, user and group management, and golden AMIs.
• You will work with serverless solutions and cloud-native services to support efficient and secure delivery.
• You will enable internal development teams with cloud solutions that make it easier to build and release services safely.
• You will collaborate closely with teammates, share ideas, and take joint ownership of team deliveries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS infrastructure.
• Strong development skills in Python, Bash, and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
• Deep understanding of IAM, SSO, and enterprise identity and governance models.
• Experience working with large AWS Organizations, including Control Tower, StackSets, and SCPs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
• Ability to complete a background check before the assignment starts.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with AI-enhanced software development methods and tooling.
• Experience with micro component solution architectures in cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Swedish language skills.
