About the Role

You will help shape future in-vehicle experiences in a technically advanced automotive environment where HMI and ADAS are central to the product. In this role, you work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to turn requirements, directives, and product vision into intuitive, user-centered interfaces. You are trusted to lead design work independently, take ideas from insight to prototype, and maintain high design quality within a Lean Agile setup. This is a strong opportunity to influence complex user experiences in an area where design has clear impact on the end product.

Job Description

• You design and prototype seamless user experiences in Figma.
• You create high-fidelity prototypes that communicate concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You plan and run user testing sessions and turn insights into concrete design improvements.
• You collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to secure the intended user experience in implementation.
• You drive design work connected to ADAS-related functions and user experiences.
• You work proactively in a Lean Agile organization and contribute to continuous improvement.
• You lead your design activities independently while staying aligned with defined constraints, requirements, and strategic direction.

Requirements

• You have extensive experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or UI Designer.
• You have proven experience from the automotive industry, including HMI development.
• You have experience working with and designing interfaces related to ADAS.
• You have strong proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• You have strong skills in user testing and gathering user insights.
• You are comfortable working independently, driving design initiatives, and taking ownership of your work.
• You have experience working in Lean Agile environments.
• You have a university degree in Interaction Design, Technical Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android Automotive systems.
• Experience delivering user-centered designs in fast-paced development environments.
• ADAS L2/L2++ knowledge and experience.
