About the Role

You will help a global automotive organization create a clear picture of how engineering data works today across Digital Engineering. The first focus is to define the current state, identify the most critical domains, entities and attributes, and build the foundation for a robust Digital Thread. You will work close to both business and technical stakeholders to improve how data is structured, governed, quality-assured and made traceable throughout the product lifecycle.

This role combines analysis, leadership and hands-on direction. You will shape the next steps for the data landscape, take the lead within the Data Product development domain, and turn insights into a clear target state and roadmap. It is a strong opportunity to influence how engineering data supports better decisions across the full product lifecycle.

Job Description

• You map the current engineering data landscape across Digital Engineering and identify key domains, entities and attributes.
• You analyze how data is structured, governed and quality-assured, and highlight the most important pain points.
• You define priorities and recommend next steps to strengthen traceability, consistency and availability of data.
• You lead the work within the Data Product development domain and shape a wanted-state roadmap.
• You create governance material and executive-level presentations that make complex data topics clear for different audiences.
• You align business and technical stakeholders and drive progress in a complex matrix organization.

Requirements

• You have a strong understanding of engineering data across the product lifecycle.
• You have solid knowledge in data management.
• You have an understanding of Digital Thread and Digital Engineering principles.
• You can lead without formal authority in a complex matrix organization.
• You have strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
• You communicate and present clearly, and can explain complex data concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• You have experience developing roadmaps, governance material, and executive-level presentations.
