About the Role

You’ll join a cloud engineering team that builds and operates secure AWS environments used by internal development teams to deliver platform services to end customers. The focus is on creating a stable, scalable and well-governed cloud foundation where developers can move quickly without compromising security or reliability.

In this role, you’ll work close to both platform engineers and developers, solve complex infrastructure challenges and help strengthen automation, governance and day-to-day operability. It’s an opportunity to shape a modern AWS setup where your technical decisions have clear impact.

Job Description

• You will design, deliver and operate secure AWS environments at enterprise scale.
• You will improve infrastructure, automation, tooling, reliability and cost efficiency across the cloud platform.
• You will analyse incidents and recurring issues, identify root causes and drive long-term improvements.
• You will implement guard rails, governance models, user and group management, and golden AMIs.
• You will build cloud solutions that help development teams deliver securely and efficiently.
• You will contribute ideas, share ownership and work closely with the team to continuously improve ways of working.
• You will help evolve the platform with Infrastructure as Code, serverless services and strong identity and access controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS infrastructure
• Strong development skills in Python, Bash and TypeScript
• Solid experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB and EventBridge
• Proficient with AWS CloudFormation and CDK
• Deep understanding of IAM, SSO and enterprise identity/governance models
• Experience with large AWS Organizations, including Control Tower, StackSets and SCPs
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation
• Right-to-work confirmation
• Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation

Our client require that an adequate background check has been completed prior to the start of this assignment.

• AWS certifications
• Experience with AI enhanced software development methods and tooling
• Experience with micro component solution architectures in cloud
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tooling such as Jira, Kanban and SAFe
• Own personal development projects
• Swedish language skills
