About the Role

You will step into a key role in a large international manufacturing environment that is building a new production facility and shaping a modern digital production landscape. At the center of that journey is a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that connects business systems with operations on the shop floor.

As the MES Project Leader, you will take ownership of the implementation and help ensure the solution is fully prepared for go-live. You will work across production, logistics, IT, business functions and external system suppliers in a complex environment with many dependencies. Job Description

• You will lead and coordinate a team working with MES and related system initiatives.
• You will drive the overall MES implementation together with the system supplier.
• You will plan and follow up deliverables, timelines, risks and dependencies across parallel workstreams.
• You will lead the project through integration testing, functional testing, system integration testing and UAT.
• You will facilitate workshops, decision forums and cross-functional discussions that move the project forward.
• You will capture and align requirements from production, quality and logistics, and ensure they are implemented correctly.
• You will coordinate dependencies between MES, SAP/ERP and production-related systems.
• You will support change management, communication and user readiness ahead of go-live.
• You will create progress and enable decisions in a dynamic stakeholder landscape.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex IT or system implementation projects
• Experience from MES implementations or similar production-related systems
• Good understanding of how MES, SAP/ERP and production systems interact
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial or production environments
• Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, dependency management and stakeholder coordination
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external system suppliers
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive progress and decision-making in a complex and dynamic environment
• Fluency in Swedish and English

Nice to have

• Experience from large-scale factory transformations, production digitalization or major go-live programs
