About the Role

You will help strengthen a cloud platform capability used by Data & Analytics teams in a complex enterprise environment. The role combines hands-on platform engineering with long-term design, automation, security, reliability and developer enablement. You will work closely with platform engineers, data engineers, architects and security stakeholders to evolve a GCP-based platform that supports scalable, secure and reusable ways of working.

You will contribute to both platform foundations and day-to-day engineering, with a clear focus on improving self-service, standardization and operational quality for multiple teams. Job Description

• You will design, build and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform.
• You will work hands-on with GKE, Kubernetes and container-based workloads.
• You will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Terraform.
• You will contribute to CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery patterns.
• You will work with GCP networking, IAM, security and access management.
• You will develop reusable platform components and improve self-service for engineering teams.
• You will strengthen monitoring, logging, observability and operational reliability in the platform.
• You will support engineering teams as they onboard workloads onto the platform.
• You will collaborate with architects, security stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure platform solutions.
• You will contribute to technical standards, patterns and long-term platform improvements.

Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Several years of hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong practical experience with GKE and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing or developing cloud platform foundations and landing-zone capabilities.
• Experience with IAM, workload identity, networking and cloud security.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and automated software and infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability in cloud environments.
• Experience supporting multiple development or engineering teams through shared platform capabilities.
• You are comfortable working independently and taking technical ownership in a complex enterprise environment.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP data services, for example BigQuery, Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Apache Beam.
• Experience with data ingestion and streaming platforms.
• Experience with GitOps and Helm.
• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms.
• Experience with Python and Bash.
• Experience from multi-cloud environments involving GCP together with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience from regulated or security-sensitive enterprise environments.
• Good Swedish, spoken and written.
