About the Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to take interim ownership of the Facilities & Construction category during a transition period. The role carries global category responsibility with a primary operational focus on Sweden, supporting ongoing construction and facility investment initiatives. You will ensure continuity, drive active sourcing work, and create clear commercial results in a matrix environment.
Job Description
- Lead sourcing and contracting activities within Facilities & Construction
- Manage RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation
- Support major construction and facility investment projects
- Secure robust commercial agreements and ensure procurement governance
- Identify and deliver cost savings and risk mitigation initiatives
- Manage supplier performance and align key stakeholders
- Provide structured reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in strategic procurement/category management
- Strong background in construction and facility-related sourcing
- Proven experience managing complex negotiations and contracts
- Ability to operate independently in a global matrix organization
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English
