About the Assignment

You will step into a hands-on engineering assignment focused on keeping manufacturing data, product documentation, and technical updates accurate and aligned. The products combine mechanical parts with electronics, so you need to feel comfortable working close to both disciplines while helping turn requested changes into well-structured updates.

This is a role for you if you enjoy creating order, understanding what needs to be changed, and driving updates all the way through documentation, CAD, and product data flows. You will work in an environment where precision matters and where even smaller updates can have a real impact on product quality and manufacturing readiness. It is an interesting opportunity if you like practical engineering work with clear deliverables and broad exposure across product data and change processes.

Job Description

• You will sort out and fully understand requested updates related to R&D manufacturing data.
• You will make minor mechanical updates in CREO.
• You will update manufacturing documentation and ensure that information is consistent and correct.
• You will maintain and update product data in the PLM system.
• You will create EMS service requests for updates of CAD files and PCB drawings.
• You will generate Engineering Change Orders as part of the change process.
• You will drive reviews of updated documents and help move changes forward in a structured way.

Requirements

• Background in mechanical engineering.
• Some background in electronics.
• Experience working with manufacturing data and technical documentation updates.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical updates in CREO.
• Experience updating product data in a PLM environment.
• Experience handling CAD files, PCB drawings, and engineering changes.
• A hands-on and proactive way of working, with the ability to drive updates from request to review.

Nice to have

• Background in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services).
